A quiet, traditional pub on the outskirts of Darlington. Built over 250 years ago, it started life as an inn, then became a farmhouse, and then was converted back to a pub. Operated by Mitchells & Butlers under the Vintage Inns brand, it offers up to three guest beers, often from Timothy Taylor, Harviestoun and Black Sheep. Food is served all day or you can just have a drink in front of the open fire in a welcoming atmosphere.
